Well I found out that I had a MMC on Wednesday. Two weeks prior I went in for my first ultrasound and everything was perfect, baby measuring ahead, and heart beat was 179. I was supposed to be 11w but it stopped growing at 8w6d a day after that first appt. I have no clue what went wrong, and how everything stopped a day after find out everything was perfect & progressing. In the back of my head I knew something was wrong though because my symptoms had subsided and I was only experiencing fatigue. I ended up taking some pills to help expel the fetus from me & it was so painful. I had contraction & ended up dilating to a 7 for 2 hrs till everything came out. I wish I would have done the D&C but I guess the pills helped me come to terms of my loss better than a surgery would have. Praying for my rainbow baby soon ��

A terrible experience. Physically and emotionally. I am so sorry. It happened exactly like this to me last year in November. A memory you will never forget. I am pregnant now again at 12 weeks and it was terrifying but seems going well. You are not alone and do not give up. Wish you all strength. Allow your body time to recover. Mine needed 3 months until periods were normal again.

very sorry for you loss. I had a missed miscarriage in December. Had a great 8 weeks scan and baby passed at 8 1/2 weeks. Our NIPT did come back our daughter had Turner’s syndrome and those pregnancy don’t progress. I did start seeing a therapist who specialized in post partum loss a month after. I high recommend it. I did get pregnant again 2 month later after 2 cycles. Sending love your way and grieve as much as you need too.

I’m sorry for yours loss. I also had a MMC in October of last year. But now I’m pregnant again and just hit 11 weeks with symptoms still going strong! You will be in this place soon.
I felt the same way where I didn’t know what went wrong. But the thing is, miscarriages are so much more common than I ever knew and the majority of the time it’s because of a genetic problem. Your body realizes the baby isn’t developing correctly and it stops growing it. It was not your fault.

Ahhh so sorry to hear that. I had a MMC at 10 weeks but baby stopped growing at 6. I had a d&c but still needed to take a pill to help open up the cervix. And I think I experienced back labour pains. It wasn’t too bad at all. But I’m glad I had the D&c since I was already freaked out and grossed out that I’ve been carrying a dead pregnancy in me for the past 4 weeks and my body didn’t realise it’s time to clean up house. D&C was great but getting it an an abortion clinic not in a hospital was a truly disgusting experience including being told by the receptionist that’s it’s not me who needs the procedure but my friend and I need to put her on the phone. I wish that *** something awful to happen in her life for the way she treated me.
